Today in class I finished my IMED year book cover, it came out quite well. Ms. Dunning showed me how to invert the original abstract colours to make them my own chosing using the master toolbar, I change the tanish nebula to a pretty blue/purple nebula and used a banner maker website to make the "Richland Collegiate High School Class of 2012-2013." Overall, it came out quite nicely.
Wedensday January 16, 2013
Today in class I started my yearbook cover. My first two attempts were "copy righted" according to Ms. Dunning so I had to start over a few times.. I found a free space image of a nebula in a far far away galaxy, and I used that as my background.

Today I took a picture of myself to portray Mark Zuckerburg, the creator of Facebook. I chose the Facebook movie because the movie cover was pretty basic, and I liked the font. I researched the cover a bit and found that the font used was Futura.

On
Friday the 11th, I was not at school because I took off due to my birthday. But we continued creating paths and making words appear a
certain way in a picture. This day was pretty much a day to finish all your work that was due on Thursday, which is good because I was almost done with the three symmetrical, asymmetrical, and the halo project.
Thursday January 10th, 2013
On
the 10th of January, 2013, we as a class created different paths and
shapes so we could put our sentences the way we wanted to on our
pictures. It was a fun exercise as we worked with symmetrical and
asymmetrical pictures and different types of fonts. I worked on three of
my pictures and created many different paths until I got the one I
wanted. Creating paths to write words is pretty fun because I believe it
can express what you are trying to say in a way. While typing on the path is confusing because your text follows the path in a way so it's hard to read in the end and do spell checks, but overall my three projects were a success.
Wedensday January 9th, 2013
On
January 9th, 2012 we did an exercise called "Color Pop". It had to do
somewhat with primary and complimentary colors which made each other pop
if used in the background. I used filters and shapes to create a tree with ornaments and a lot of stars. My color pop image is suppose to show Ubong shooting a tree out of his hands at the other two people, which is basically student life. The final version
of the picture looked pretty good but I could have done a better job. I
learned how to make shapes the way I wanted and it was pretty easy. I
can say all of the pictures in the class turned out great due to
Professor Dunning's instruction.

Tuesday Januray 8th, 2013
On January 8th 2013 in our IMED class we took portraits of ourselves in light and dark rooms which would be easier for us to expose the light and dark areas of that picture. My partners for this project were Aline & Lindsay, which was really awkward because most of the pictures I took on this day was in the bathroom.. Anywho, after we took the bathroom pictures we moved to the dark room and were in there for awhile trying to get a good shadow with not enough light in the picture as well.

Yesterday, on Monday, January 7th 2012, we as a class retouched a photo of a woman with hideous blemishes. We also learned a few new tools: burning, smudging, and healing. The burning tool sharpened the light spots of the woman's eyebrows, and made the eye brows thicker and darker. The smudging took pulled down the woman's white spots from her teeth to cover the hideous yellow spots that were unattractive. The healing tool found and replaced the skin on her face to remove the pimples. These tools were used to help us improve the woman's appearance beauty, but in the end she still looked like a man.
